Head of CRM

Astley Clarke are recruiting for a Head of CRM/CRM Manager to join our fast growing team at our London offices. Working closely with our Head of eCommerce and Finance Director on customer acquisition and retention programs, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven self-starter with the ability to mastermind and drive through innovative CRM techniques across the business.

The role includes the delivery, implementation and execution of an international strategy for acquiring new customers and consumers, converting and retaining them using innovative on-site, email, CRM, DM, social media and mobile techniques.

The successful candidate will be passionate about CRM and able to demonstrate measurable successes in a similar role, and will ideally possess some experience of social media. Supported by the Head of eCommerce and Finance Director, he or she will collaborate closely with production, product planning, IT, online marketing and personal shopping to deliver the CRM strategy for Astley Clarke.

Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years experience in CRM in an online retail business - employing best practice, ethical CRM techniques (including an up-to-date knowledge of the latest regulations in the countries in which we operate) and have extensive experience executing programmes accordingly.

We are looking for a highly organised and structured, data-driven CRM practitioner with significant CRM experience in an online retail business, email expertise, direct mail experience, strong project management skills and customer service experience to grow our database. Project and Testing Intern

We are looking for someone to manage our Project office documentation for us and be heavily involved in the testing and of the full revamp of our site.

This will involve:

Working with myself (Head of eCommerce), Dan Coleman (Head of IT) and our web development team to

• Manage project briefs, project plans and risk registers and co-ordinate the programme testing and bug fixing
• Writing detailed test plans which will involve fully understanding the functionality being built and the customer journey and documenting this to a high standard
• Testing the functionality as it is built and logging bugs in our bug tracking system

The person doing this role will get a very good overview of the structure and operation of a website as we are planning on completely restructuring our site this year.

We are VC backed company and a growing online business with a really committed team and have a really good company culture and working environment.

This role would ideally suit someone studying a technical discipline as it requires a structured mind and someone who is super organised and meticulous. It would also be good for someone who wants a solid introduction to online retailing and preferably with an interest in jewellery.
