We just had to catch up with best friends and duo Lou & Em to ask them to reveal their style secrets.

 

What's the best part of your job?

Lou & Em: We both love Fashion so to be able to constantly (window) shop and say it’s work is a real perk! Working both together as friends is a bonus too, it really helps with inspiration for content when you can bounce ideas of each other. Everything we post on A Style Album happens organically and is about what we’re into at that time.

 

What jewellery do you wear every day?

Lou & Em: We’ve both gone through the midlife ear piercing phase and have multiple ear piercings so studs are a must. We’re both rarely seen without our Astley Clarke Biography bracelets too, we love stacking them up in a mixture of colours.

 

How important is jewellery when you are styling a look for the blog?

Lou & Em: Jewellery is very important as it can finish off the overall look. We love to have fun with accessories, layering a couple of necklaces or stacking rings can give a simple outfit the perfect edge.

 

Whose style do you admire?

Lou: My go-to for Fashion Inspiration is Christine Centenera, she’s very cool and edgy.

Em: I’m a bit obsessed with Zanna Rassi, I love how she’ll team a long Preen dress with some Stan Smiths.

 

What are your every day luxuries?

Lou & Em: Time is a massive luxury that we never have enough of, juggling work commitments as well as our families and A Style Album takes up all of it! .
