Web Development Manager

An Index Ventures Portfolio company is looking for an experienced developer who has delivered Magento Enterprise Ecommerce solutions. They will be tasked with developing and maintaining an in house Magento Enterprise eCommerce solution working with in house developers and external agencies. They will additionally be required to support the Marketing team in the best practice use of the platform. This is a small fast paced VC backed business, this person will work closely with the Web & Marketing Team and will gain invaluable retailer side commercial ecommerce experience.

Must have:

2+ years Magento best practice development
Multi-site Magento Enterprise configuration experience
Experience building integrations for ecommerce systems – finance, stock management, crm, affiliates, etc
Understanding of the LAMP stack as a Magento hosting platform
Good understanding of Magento promotions, groups, segmentation, events and other advanced on-site sales tools
Several website builds
Business and Technical Analysis skills

Social Media Administrator

Astley Clarke is recruiting for a Social Media Administrator to join our fast growing team at our London Offices. Working closely with the Content & Merchandising Manager and Head of eCommerce this is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual with a passion for all things Astley Clarke and a very strong communicator.

The role includes:

Regularly updating and growing Astley Clarke’s Social Media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest, Linked In, Youtube and Flickr and the Astley Clarke blog.
Working with the Content & Merchandising Manager to create new SEO friendly content and expose the rich content already on Astley Clarke’s website.
Building Astley Clarke’s brand equity in the Social Media world, ensuring a consistent tone of voice across all channels.
Keeping abreast of new developments in Social Media and ensuring that best practice is followed at all times.
Liaising with the Head of eCommerce and Head of CRM on all marketing initiatives and ensuring that brand messages are presented effectively across all Social Media channels.
Monitoring and reporting on key KPIs for growth including Sales, Site visits, number of fans/followers and Engagement and including analysis of competitors.
Making recommendations for improvements in the use of Social Media and how it should interact with the rest of the business.
Working closely with the PR and Events team on campaigns.

We are looking for an organised and creative person with a strong sense of what makes Social Media work to build a strong Social Media presence for Astley Clarke across a number of channels.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent writing skills and a jewellery fan who is keen to learn. A degree in digital marketing or a related discipline and existing knowledge of luxury branding would be an advantage.

Sales Assistant

Astley Clarke are recruiting for a passionate and highly motivated Sales Assistant, to work in one of our brand new Retail Concessions to open at the end of April. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual with a love for jewellery to represent the Astley Clarke brand at the highest level.

Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent customer service, have experience of working within a luxury brand, solid jewellery retail experience and strong communication skills.

You will be required to be flexible as the role will involve some evenings and weekends.

Merchandising & Web Administrator

Astley Clarke are recruiting for a Merchandising & Web Administrator to join our fast growing team at our London Offices. Working closely with the Content & Merchandising Manager this is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual with a passion for all things Astley Clarke and a very strong eye for detail. The role includes entering product data and writing short and inspiring product descriptions; uploading product imagery and organising products into relevant categories, merchandising each category to achieve visual cohesion and optimise sales; liaising with our Ops and Merchandising departments to co-ordinate product photography and ‘View on a Model’ shots, and working closely with our photographer to ensure optimal images are taken. The role also includes a small amount of post-production of images, as well as extensive use of template work in Photoshop. We are looking for an organised and creative person with an excellent attention to detail as well as an adaptable approach enabling them to take on any other online marketing duties that may be required.
