A StoryWovenThrough History
Three decades on from the first British expedition to summit Everest, Bec Astley Clarke accompanied her Father, the team’s chief medical officer, on an unchartered Himalayan expedition. Using only 19th Century British army maps Bec soon realised that at the heart of climbing, where rope is your life line, the knot becomes your life preserver and essential link in your chain.
Hand finished, this collection is offered in 18 carat gold and rhodium plated silver.
A standard tie-in knot, connecting the rope to your harness. It is the strongest climbing knot used.
