About: Amethyst pendant with 18ct yellow gold seed by acclaimed anthropologist and London based jewellery designer Pippa Small, available online from Astley Clarke. Banded in satin finished 18ct gold, the irregular amethyst measures approximately 11mm by 25mm, and is suspended from a 19 inch purple silk cord. Simple and elegant, Pippa's distinctively organic designs have earned her a reputation as one of London's most talented jewellery designers. One of London’s most talented jewellery designers and an acclaimed anthropologist, Pippa Small was born in Canada but raised in Wiltshire to an eclectic extended family of artists and travellers. From a shy and inquisitive child, to anthropologist, to jewellery designer, Pippa now finds herself designing jewellery largely in conjunction with causes close to her heart. Her line of 18ct gold jewellery and exquisite gem stones are ethically sourced and are available only in a very few stores across Europe. Pippa's jewellery is designed at her studio in London and made in India.
