Based out of a little cobbled mews in W2, the head office houses the whole UK team from the design studio through to marketing and accounts. Reporting to: CEO

Overview/Skills required: We are looking for a dynamic and creative web trading and content manager to champion the customer experience and build on our reputation as a leading global jewellery destination. The role will be responsible for the management of engaging, SEO rich, content and driving optimisation of the website through the implementation of A/B testing. As part of a dynamic wholly in-house team you will enjoy the responsibility of owning the KPI’s relating to traffic, conversion, sales, retention and engagement.

Essential Job Functions

Web Trading and Marketing

  • Strong experience and understanding of Google Analytics and Sales analysis to deliver on-site recommendations to improve customer experience and conversion
  • Develop and deliver the onsite A/B and MVT plan based on insight gained through data analysis
  • Develop and execute Digital Marketing initiatives to drive acquisition within agreed CPA targets
  • Reflect the Brand marketing campaigns in the merchandising plan and ensure it supports the commercial objectives of the business
  • Present weekly Web sales highlights and trading initiatives to the business
  • Content

  • Brief on brand, relevant and accurate SEO rich content in order to continue to grow the channel
  • Manage and contribute to the product copy sign off process
  • Ensuring content is engaging and in line with brand values
  • Developing content to reflect and build out brand marketing campaigns
  • Create the Content Planner and manage the Web Content Executive to ensure timely launch of new collections and campaigns
  • Organic Search

  • Identify new opportunities to continue to effectively grow our SEO revenue. Ensuring we are optimised on brand, key categories and long tail terms
  • Manage reporting and insight delivery on SEO
  • Optimise customer journey for SEO so landing pages are relevant and appropriate
  • Management of Web Marketing Executive

  • Provide support and coaching to the Web Marketing Executive
  • Ensure all tasks are delivered to the highest possible standard, within budget and to schedule
  • Sign off on and assist with management of photography budget
  • Management of Web Developer

  • Manage the time of the in-house Magento Developer to achieve the commercial timelines and ensure new features and BAU upgrades are delivered on time
  • Ensure appropriate testing and scoping documents are accurate
  • Key Skills

  • Expert in Google Analytics, creating custom reports and segments
  • Implementing A/B testing and understanding of MVT programs
  • Experience and understanding of web merchandising and how it can be used to drive sales
  • Project Management experience, strong completer / finisher skills
  • Sound knowledge of HTML and working in Content Management Systems
  • Self-starter, driven and entrepreneurial
  • Articulate, and a strong interest for Jewellery and an eye for detail

    Reporting to:

    Head of Communications

    This is a role which will report directly to the Head of Communications. As the business develops across web, retail and wholesale channels both in the UK and internationally we require a Press Officer to generate maximum press coverage for the brand, its products and events across key print and online titles. This person must be able to work closely with other departments, and most regularly with other members of the Brand Communications team.

    Main Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to and executing PR strategy for Astley Clarke
  • Securing significant feature coverage, product placement and event coverage across all of the UK online and offline press and some European press
  • Organising day-to-day Press & Influencer events in conjunction with our VIP Relations team
  • Management of the US Press agency on a day-to-day basis
  • Writing of press releases, alerts and other press collateral for both UK & US markets
  • Working closely with building multi-channel co-brand partnerships
  • Maintaining regular contact with key industry journalists and answering image/interview enquiries
  • Working closely with our Brand Communications Officer (who manages all social media), contributing to social media channels and helping to drive traffic
  • Tracking product samples efficiently
  • Managing/assisting with the PR Budget
  • Skills Required:

    Our ideal candidate will be a highly organised executive with excellent jewellery and fashion contacts within luxury publications. With your PR background in jewellery and fashion you will already have strong communication skills to build on existing relationships and act as a brand ambassador for Astley Clarke. The ideal candidate will love the Astley Clarke brand and have a fundamental understanding of where we are now and play a key role in the journey we are embarking on as a brand. They will have experience in a luxury PR environment liaising with journalists, working on strategy and events. Some ecommerce and/or in-house experience would be a plus. We are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3-4 years experience working in a fast paced press environment.
