How to Open Your Astley Clarke Locket
Your locket holds your favourite memories, so here's how to open it, close it and refresh the photos inside whenever you like.
How do I open my locket?
- Find the lip. Hold your locket with the front facing you. On the right-hand edge, you'll find a small indented lip. Can't see it? Imagine your locket is a clock: it sits at around two o'clock.
- Pop it open. Hold the locket securely, then slide your thumbnail or fingernail into the groove and gently ease the two sides apart.
- Close it. Press the two faces together until you hear a small click.
That's it. Your memories are there whenever you want them.
How do I order replacement photos for my locket?
Got new memories to add? Changing your locket photos is just as easy:
- Head to your locket's product page on our website. Find it in our locket necklaces or locket bracelets.
- Under Size, select the size of the locket you own.
- Scroll down to Replacement Photos and click the link.
- Upload your image and adjust the cropping.
- Confirm the photo, Review the final look and add it to your basket.
- Check out, and leave the cutting, printing and posting to us.
How do I fit new photos in my locket?
Your replacement photo arrives printed to the size of your locket. Slot it into place, tucking the edges behind the lip inside the locket so it's held securely.
Every locket is polished by hand in our workshop, so the inside measurements can vary very slightly from piece to piece. You may need to trim your photo for a perfect fit. If it's a touch small, use the little sticky dots we send with your photo to hold it in place.
Can I change my locket photos in store?
