Guests were invited to an exclusive party to celebrate the Astley Clarke fashion fine jewellery collections at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, Magazine restaurant in Hyde Park.

There is something about a sunny evening that really sets off that party feeling. In this spirit, we decided to host a Summer Party at a true London institution, the Serpentine Sackler Gallery. The newly built Magazine restaurant, designed by Zaha Hadid, formed the perfect architectural backdrop for our evening of fun and frivolity.

We spent the evening sipping on Tipsy Tea Cocktails and Breakfast Martini's. Who knew marmalade was delicious on more than just burnt toast? The canapés were equally delectable Quail Egg & Truffle sushi, tuna tartare and chocolate candy floss sticks.

This was however no ordinary summer party. We decided to add a touch of suspense by having six dashing swindlers dupe our guests by stealing cases full of our finest jewels. Forget the Thomas Crown Affair, this year was all about an Astley Clarke Affair. We, of course, forgave them for the trickery when they returned to present our latest gemstone and diamond jewellery collections to our somewhat startled guests.

Once the jewellery had been sufficiently eyeballed and the cocktails adequately appreciated, our Guest DJ Laura Whitmore took to the decks while guests danced the evening away... some better than others.
