Feeling Festive | An Evening With Ett Hem and Friends
To celebrate the festive season we opened the doors to our flagship store on Tuesday 5th December for a very special after hours event. Sustainability has always been a pillar for Astley Clarke, which is why we only use recycled noble metals and we’re registered with the RJC, so that all of our partners and suppliers produce as ethically as we do. We knew we wanted to bring something exciting to our VIPs guests so we partnered with our friends at Ett Hem to host a wreath decorating workshop for one night.

Who are Ett Hem?

Ett Hem are a design-led collective, specialising in forever flowers. These pretty faux flowers not only look exceptionally true to life, but their longevity means that unlike fresh flowers that come and go, Ett Hem’s blooms can adorn a space for weeks, months and even years. A female led business, with Design Director Elle King as their front woman, Ett Hem designs and creates forever flowers for high end clients, such as, The Royal Opera House, Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace as well as luxury fashion and beauty partners.

The Event

We set the scene, transforming our store into a luxe workshop with a twelve foot table in the centre, and each place set with a forever wreath, ready to be adorned. Our signature Astley Clarke candles burned in the background as our 10 VIPs were invited to share drinks, a festive inspired cheese board from our friends at Grape & Fig and of course, mince pies to mark the occasion. Elle talked the guests through the best way to decorate their wreath choosing small flowers in pretty pastels to lavish giant bows in sumptuous velvets. Our favourite part? Seeing how each guest uniquely transformed their wreath into a masterpiece ready to hang on their doors.

Our thank you

To thank each guest for coming, we offered them the gift of memories - an Astley Clarke Locket to take home with them. Each guest chose a locket, and watched as our Flagship Store team personalised each one in minutes.

The team will print and fit the images inside your chosen locket for you. We also offer free engraving - this can be initials, dates or even special words or quotes. Our in-house engraving service will do this while you wait so your locket is ready to wear once you leave.
